Oklahoma Redbird

Frequently performed by Lyman Enloe, a well-known fiddler from Miller County, in the Missouri Ozarks. In the 1920ís Lyman performed with his uncle Tony Gilmore over radio station WOS in Jefferson City. Lyman was an active dance fiddler and fiddle contest performer in his younger days. Later in life, Lyman moved to Kansas City and performed with Bluegrass groups in the area. He received a National Heritage Award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
